Antique 1.56 Carat Unheated Ceylon Yellow Sapphire Ring, circa 1915
An absolutely wonderful antique ring. The bright, daffodil yellow sapphire n the centre - certified by GIA as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - “floats” within a lateral marquise set with fourteen eight-cut diamonds and six natural, blue sapphires. All the stones are set silver within a simple split rose gold gallery, leading to a slender band. Utterly charming and wholly unique.

Accompanied by a GIA report stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
