








Edwardian 3.52 Carat Ceylon Sapphire Ring, dated 1912
An amazing antique sapphire ring. The cushion shaped sapphire in the centre – certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – displays a rich, demin blue. The stone is secured in an unfussy eight-claw coronet collet which is flanked on either side by small, rubover set cabochon sapphire which lead to a slim and tapering 18k yellow gold shank.
Currently size K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Free sizing available
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
With clear hallmarks from the Chester assay office, 1912.
