Utterly mesmeric. This glorious antique solitaire ring features a cushion cut sapphire - certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - which displays a subtle colour change: blue in daylight; purple in incandescent light. The stone is secured by four platinum double claws with beautifully intricate detailing in the gallery. Leading to a slender platinum shank set with 8 (four each side) eight-cut diamonds in the milgrained shoulders.
Currently size M 1/2 (UK) or 6 1/4 (US). Free sizing available.
Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
